No matter whom I talk to,
whether it is BCS graduates, staff, parents or
students, what I hear is that Brantford
Christian School is a great place to be - to
learn and be encouraged in growing up in the
Lord. Do you ever think about how BCS got here?
Did the government build it? Did it just land at
the cul-de-sac on Calvin Street from out of
nowhere? Of course not. About 47 years ago, a
group of Christians who were committed to the
cause of Christ-centered education, made
significant sacrifices in order to build the
school we now enjoy. We are the recipients of a
school where our children can thrive in
academics, sports, arts and relationships - not
only with each other and with their caring
Christian teachers, but most importantly, with
Jesus Christ. We are blessed to be part of a
school community where so many different
denominations can come together for the mutual
purpose of training and instructing children to
develop their God-given gifts to glorify Him in
every aspect of life. As we have been blessed by
past and present generations, let's consider how
we can be a blessing to this generation and the
next. When you are invited to give of your
resources, I encourage you to do so prayerfully,
knowing you are contributing to the legacy of
Brantford Christian School and the blessing it
will continue to be.
